THIS ARTWORK MEASURES aprox 230 x 150MM.
This handsome pyrography of Marstons steam crane "Duke of York" is drawn on a section of natural acacia wood. Built by John Fowler in 1928, this B6 compound engine is a frequent visitor to the steam rallies around Yorkshire. Drawn from a photo I took at the Driffield steam show in 2015, I have used a little acrylic paint to highlight the brass-work on the boiler.
I have signed it with my initials in the lower left of the wood, it is sealed and finished with 4 coats of satin varnish on both sides and comes with a 'd' ring wall hanger.
ITEM PRICE INCLUDES U.K POSTAGE .
Suitable for indoor use only. All pyrographs should be kept out of direct sunlight, as the sun will bleach the wood.
